I read on the Weems Family Kennel website yesterday that Chloe’s father, Buster, a brown and white American Cocker Spaniel has passed on. Although we never met Buster, but through his photographs posted on the Internet, we understand that he was the best male in the Weems Kennel. Chloe not only inherited the trademark appearance of the white fur around her neckline from him along with her brown coloring, but we can honestly say that she has taken after his great attitude and disposition.

When Chloe gets into her mischievous mode, which we jokingly refer to as coming from her mother Minnie, we tell her you need to be more like Buster. I remember when we selected Chloe Chris Weems indicated that she was the last of Busters' girls, as he was getting old and was retired from mating services right after that. We’ll miss you Buster.
