Today, October 19th marks Chloe’s 8th birthday, and in our family, this special day has always been a time of celebration. It’s also a time when the birthday person has the privilege of setting the day’s agenda. It could mean a day of leisure if they work 9 to 5, a special dinner at a favorite restaurant, or even a small shopping spree on another person’s dime.
Chloe who lives in the doggy world, has her own special birthday agenda as illustrated in the three cartoon panels below. But having lived with Chloe for 8 years, I think she also tries pushing her agenda when it’s not her birthday!
