Fall temperatures in the low forties and plenty of sunshine, is
what greeted Chloe and I as we went up to the park on this early Sunday
morning. Already there was a tennis match going on that we briefly stopped to
watch before continuing for the open trail. We took notice of the trees turning
red and yellow, along with the intense blooming of the flowering chamisa
plants, but there was still plenty of green foliage around.
This is how our
part of New Mexico looks 35 days into autumn.
