“Look Chloe, balloons!” and that’s what we watched from various points on our walk today as the 41st Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta entered its final weekend. We saw them from the trail, from the park, and even from the neighborhood where one balloonist made a daunting touch down on the street between the houses.
I’m not sure what she was thinking when she looked up and spotted the yellow balloon with its distinctive flame-on roaring noise, but she gave out a low growl, and immediately headed in the opposite direction!
