Tell me you didn’t forget, but were you aware that this week was National Dog Week? Yes, it’s a seven day celebration established as the last full week in September (For 2017 it’s September 24th-30th) by author and publisher, William Judy back in 1928 with one purpose in mind, to honor all the ways that dogs have served humans, and to promote responsible dog ownership.
To mark the occasion in our household, Chloe and me headed for the park with my pocket filled with her favorite treats, and according to my watch there’s still plenty of time to celebrate the last day of National Dog Week with your favorite canine!
