| On the high desert trail this morning. |
I could tell that our recent isolation from trail walking was starting to take a toll on Chloe, and if it wasn’t for the excuse of the recent cold weather, it was my need to get into work early that had set aside our normal daily routine. So, as Saturday morning rolled in, guess who was giving me the word that today was the weekend and we better hit the trail pronto!
No more excuses she howled, “let’s go now!” She barely let me finish my cup of coffee with her constant circling of the breakfast table. Yea, I’ve come to understand the body language of a dog, and that an impatient cocker spaniel is nothing to fool around with.
So, with the last gulp of the coffee, it was time to hit the trail!
