It’s early Thursday morning as we head out the door. I carry in my
pocket Chloe’s favorite Charlee Bear treats with a flavor of turkey and
cranberry. We both catch a glimpse of a lone rabbit
that takes off into the bushes, but there’s no time for that as we continue on.
We pass Lucy a Brittany, near the park and give her a morning greeting.
The
forecast is for a day of cool temperatures, and sunny skies. Yes, it’s another
day to count our many blessings and to give thanks as we head back for home
just as the sun rises over the Sandias. It’s Thanksgiving in the high desert.
