Here we are, one day after Thanksgiving, and autumn is in full
swing in the high desert. Nighttime temperatures are cold while daylight hours bring plenty of sunshine. That
means the leaves are now jumping off the trees, and making for quite a mess
on the ground! So today, Chloe and I spent the morning, and most of the afternoon collecting the leaves
with a leaf vacuum and a lot of sweat equity. In truth, I performed the gathering of the leaves while Chloe provided me with her companionship as she crisscrossed the yard pointing out where the leaves had fallen.
