Saturday Morning in the Park

After doing our Saturday morning walk, Chloe and I decided to hang around the park for a while. For Chloe it was a time to catch up on those morning smells that were coming from the damp grass, while I had a chance to catch a glimpse of the first balloons in the sky.
Next week starts the 2012 Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, an event that attracts more than 700 balloonists from around the world, and it appears that some pilots had already arrived in town. This October will mark the 41st year of the event as Chloe and I expect to see more balloons in the morning air in a run up to next Saturday’s spectacular mass ascension.
