For the past several weeks we have been watching the "Great British Baking Show" on Sunday night television. It's great theater with a unique setting that takes place on an English country estate under a white colored tent. From the vantage point of her footstool that sits in front of my chair, even Chloe enjoys the British food show as each of the bakers attempt to prepare some very complicated dishes.
As we watched the program, Chloe decided that she wanted to have what they were preparing. You see most dogs are obsessed with food, and Chloe is no exception. The only difference however is that Cocker Spaniels like to play off their cuteness factor to get their wish. Using their large eyes that can seemly portray sincerity, along with a touch of sadness, Chloe often gives me such glances that are almost hypnotizing at times, and on this evening she played her hand to perfection as she turned over her shoulder to give me her best soulful look. My wife sitting next to us noticed Chloe and commented "she's giving you dreamy eyes!"
