Earlier this week our high desert made a return visit back to the deep freeze. When the wind chill factor produces temperatures in the low teens we usually spend our morning walk playing a game indoors.
Chloe’s preference is a spirited tug-of-war with one of her stuffed animals, but on this occasion we each lined up on opposite ends of the hallway for an indoor game of fetch. Showing the intensity of a true major league ball player, she carefully positioned herself to one side as she calmly awaited my throw of the ball.
